Tricks I Absolutely Have to Teach Sgt. Pepper!

Inspiration: Dashing Dish

Good Morning all!

While cleaning up my inbox and checking some emails this morning I stumbled upon Dashing Dish. Its creator Katie has an amazing collection of recipes, fitness activities, meal plans, etc. to help readers achieve a healthy lifestyle. It really is a great site and I recommend signing for a premium membership!  [Note: You can give as much as you want for the membership fee – but it is definitely worth way more than $5 a month]

Go check out her site and let me know what you think! I can’t wait to start trying out her recipes and workouts!

Lytro Camera

Okay get ready for this – there is a camera out there that allows you to take living pictures! So you can change the focus of the image with the touch of your finger either on the Lytro camera viewer or on your computer once it’s uploaded. The  Lytro team has changed the way consumers will interact with photography. While the Lytro camera starts at $399, I have a feeling this will be more of a personal use camera. Too bad because it would be fun to play with for work! I haven’t done enough research, but this looks like a really awesome camera.

I embedded one of their images so give it a click and see how easily it switches between focusing on the foreground or background. There’s more on their website too.

This camera is seriously cool!!

Tis the Season!

Out of total boredom and a little curiosity, I decided to try to make my own hot cocoa. I decided to call it Em-Mocha-Extraordinar. I thought to myself, who knows maybe this delicious cocoa could be the next great Food Network recipe, children all over the country would yearn for Em-Mocha-Extraordinar. Unfortunately no matter how much sugar/chocolate syrup I added to this disgusting mixture of unsweetened cocoa and warm milk. So ladies and gentlemen, I will leave my hot cocoa cravings to the professionals (Swiss Miss).
